Europe Direct Centres now open for business.

Europe Direct Relay is part of a new UK network of EU drop-in centres, which is part of the wider European network of over 400 Europe Direct Relay Centres across Europe. The new centres will operate from the SAVAGE offices, where members of the public will be able to 'drop in' and access an Information Library relating to Europe. There will be access to the Internet where they can find out anything from details about the European Parliament, its members and European Policies to European holiday destinations and completing the new E111 Medical Insurance form online.

We've been working with the Marlowe Academy and all the students are very enthusiastic, we will also be working with Hartsdown School who will be hosting a conference where the children can debate Europe and find out the benefits of being in the European Union.

The new Europe Direct Relays are intended to form one of the primary sources of information for the public and business community on EU policies and legislation, and form part of a new strategy intending to close the information gap between the EU and its public.
